Ian Fernandez may be a familiar name to many across the country, he spent some time with us during lockdown last year to discuss his elevation as a BWF registered Line Judge, only one of five Aussies to be listed. Ian was nominated as a hero of the month not for his own successes but for his assistance with other future Technical Officials and players, helping with learning the rules, passing on advice and giving back to the sport where he can. Well done Ian!
