ADF Racquet’s Women’s (Badminton) Development Camp (Sep 8)

ADF Racquets is an Australian Defence Force (ADF) sports association that unites Navy, Army, and Air Force personnel who play racquet sports.

We are delighted to be part of the 4 days ADF Racquet Women Development Camp delivering Badminton to 30 ladies at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Hall on the 8th of September.

Starting from 9am and in 3 hours intense skill development session:
Stretching and Warm up
Basic footworks
Thumb Grip – Basic Backhand Low Serve
Basic Grip – how to pronate when lifting, driving and smashing
Game rule and scoring
Strategy and Game play
And some doubles practise before the comp. held after lunch.

1 hour lunch

1-3pm – a mini doubles comp. to put the learning into play. We had 2 divisions:
Competitive Division – 2 pools of 4 teams playing in round robin format and the 2 teams of each pool with the highest total points won cross over to play for the final 1st and 2nd places.
Social Division – a pool of 5 teams playing in round robin format.

All games are play to 2 sets to 15 without setting.
