Good morning Sports Coordinators and Coaches,
Badminton NSW would like to invite teams from your school to participate in the NSW Inter-School Novice Teams event on Sunday 23rd August hosted at the Alpha Badminton Centre, Auburn.
We are pleased to have the use of this newly, refurbished larger number of courts Badminton specific Centre so we can have a spacious venue for players and their family/friends to watch comfortably with a café operating.
Please can you forward to the current Badminton coordinator if you are in charge of another sport this term/year.
The team match format comprises 2 singles and 3 doubles matches, with team size 4 – 6 players except for the Mixed team format.
We look forward to your team(s) participation in this Badminton event.
Early team registrations is appreciated (by 10th August latest) so we can book the total number of courts required. Courtesy notice can then be given by the Centre Management to their permanent patrons to give up their court bookings on 23rd August.
As many schools missed out last May with their team entries, we will guarantee 6 teams per school and will endeavour to accept teams 7+
For schools who deliberately ignore reminders to give their students number of years playing experience, it will be default to greater than 3 years.
