2023 Sydney International BWF International Series Tournament Entry Deadline 7th September and Call for Volunteers

Please find details of the 2023 Sydney International (SI2023) entry reminder due date 7th September – a Badminton Oceania Grade 3 and BWF International Series tournament with World ranking points.

Please contact me via email admin@badmintonnsw.org.au if players need to apply for a BWF Id.  I will give you the BWF ID application form to be completed. The SI2023 closing date is Thursday 7th September so prompt action is required.

The event will be held on 18th to 22nd October at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Hall.

We look forward to your participation as a player, technical official or event personnel for this BWF International Series Tournament and the following volunteer roles are to be filled.

Be up close to some of your favourite athletes, be part of the team making this happening, or simply be part of the event.

The Volunteer roles available are:

         Venue Bump-In 16th Oct 5 pm/ Bump Out 22nd Oct 2pm

         Practice Courts Supervisor

         Player Marshalling

         Shuttle Control / Court Steward

         Live Stream Data Entry Assistants

         Match Control / Announcers

         Team liaison officers to meet players at the airport

         Live Stream Commentators

         Media writers on daily tournament results and player updates

         Medical – doctors/nurses/physios/wellness professionals
