Exciting news from our NSW para-badminton athletes! They recently embarked on a remarkable journey to Melbourne, where they showcased their incredible skills at the highly anticipated Badminton Abilities Games Day. Competing against para athletes from all across Australia, this event proved to be a fantastic opportunity for our players and many lasting friendships were forged over the weekend.
Our dedicated NSW coaches(Victoria Wang and Justin Yu) joined them, lending their expertise and mentorship throughout the competition day. But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Alongside Nigel from SA and the Ian Bridge, the coaches provided invaluable training and guidance to our para-athletes with a training session on the following day, where they engaged in interactive exercises and fun training drills. What an unforgettable experience!
